sam-culture is led by Pam Jarvis.
Pam is an evaluator and consultant with extensive experience across National Lottery Heritage Fund projects, major funder commissions, capital development, community engagement and organisational learning. She works with a trusted group of associates, bringing in the right skills for each commission.
Our approach is clear, practical and collaborative.
We ask the right questions, gather strong evidence, make sense of it clearly, and provide insight that can be used.

Mel Larsen
A Marketing Consultant and Business Coach, Mel helps creative freelancers, entrepreneurs and cultural organisations identify their authentic vision and design strategies for measurable results. Mel and Pam focus on organisational development and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.
Nia McIntosh
Nia is a Learning, Engagement and Interpretation specialist with over 18 years of experience in delivering and evaluating high quality initiatives and consulting for NLHF projects, heritage organisations, councils, museums, galleries and religious spaces.
Pam and Nia work together on co-created projects with children and young people at their centre. Their adaptable and innovative approach is driven by their passion for inspiring engagement and meaningful change through heritage.
Chris Unitt, One Further
Chris uses his extensive experience in the cultural sector to run One Further, a digital analytics and content strategy consultancy. sam-culture works with One Further on the evaluation of digital projects.
Julie Aldridge
Working with a diverse mix of arts and cultural organisations across the UK and internationally. Audience strategy, business planning, brand, membership development, digital / social media. Helping organisations explore how they might matter more to more people, play a bigger role in people’s lives and create a relevant and resilient future within their community.
