Art, Architecture… and Alchemy

Art, Architecture … and Alchemy was the sixth annual West Sussex arts conference, which explored innovative collaborations between artists, architects, planners and regenerators within the built environment. sam was commissioned to conceive, programme and produce the conference as part of Architecture Week 2005.

The conference presented inspirational views from speakers of international renown and stimulated new ideas and partnerships. It has also helped to shape future agendas, contributing to West Sussex County Council’s emerging arts and built environment policy.

sam has successfully managed each of the annual arts conferences, with themes ranging from the role of the arts within the community to the use of the arts within health.
